I'm hoping that the reason none of us have been posting is because we've all been reading and/or processing Harry Potter 7. I know I have been!

I did finally pick up another book though, and it was a fun light read, even though it dealt with some very important issues. It's called The Cupid Chronicles and is the sequel to The Wedding Planner's Daughter (see previous posts for a review). I thoroughly enjoyed the first book, so I was really excited when this new one came out. And I wasn't disappointed! Hooray!
Willa (the main character) is turning 14, and dealing with all sorts of teenage things, including the fact that her crush JFK (not the president) is back in town and maybe (possibly sort of?) likes her too. She finds out she has bigger fish to fry though when the town library announces that the bank is foreclosing on it. Her favorite place in the world is going to be gone for good, and Willa can't stand it. She decides to lead some fun-raisers and earn the money to pay off the loan so the library can keep it's doors open. Add into this mix her best friend Tina's new compatibility quiz and Willa's belief in Cupid, and you get a fun filled romance that's an easy quick read. Go check it out, and if your library doesn't have it, request it. I did and mine got it! Hooray!
